Not to mention it's speed on land and in water is almost if not better than that of a toad. At least with the ones I've tamed so far.
Heck, you can take any harvesting dino on expeditions to craft items as you go. If you harvest and load up dinos with mats, haul them back to base, and craft everything at base, you are wasting alot of time by traveling back and forth.
A smaller dino than a paracera or a bronto that gives access to smithy is freaking great.
