Connecting Rafts?
Devs would there be a way we could connect rafts? Something you could do to balance would be to not to allow the floatila to move after you connect two or more. I got this idea from watching Zueljin's Ark play through and thought it would be cool! You could set a limit of 4 for wood rafts, maybe 8 for Metal rafts (if you add it) and like 16 for hi-tech rafts (if you add that also)

I believe they mentionned we'll get something in the like of a speedboat at some point but yeah, making huge ship would be cool!

you can actually do this right now,i half completed a raft bridge from herb to the mainland .all worked fine and dandy untill just like quetzs the rafts get moved around when the server gets restarted

I would love to see this! So far I tried getting the foundations on the two different rafts exactly in line ( which was a huge pain in the ass...) it still wouldn't allow me to snap a ceiling between those two. For now I'm just gonna build my waterworld-atoll-base with rafts floating next to each other but it would be nice if there was a way to connect them at some point. Even if I wouldn't be able to move them anymore, it'd be fine. And it would open up an entirely new area to build on, especially for newspawns and waterbased tribes.

Bridge will come in time. They MUST add them at some point. More so if they still plan a infinite/near infinite procedural map.
