Spino spawn rate is terrible
They didn't span very often even when they was just introduced. At least way-way-way less often than rexes. Now when more than half of their spawn zone was cut off by introducing swamp and snow biome (river that goes in snow biome never have spinos now) - their spawn rate is just terrible.

At very least prevent rexes spawn at river bank, and make spinos spawn as the only 'alpha' predators (not including occasional giga) in that area.
Even if rexes stop spawning at river - there still will be ♥♥♥♥ tons of them around the isle. But hopefully spinos won't be super-rare anymore.

I don't know if there's some odd setting in play on the unofficial server I use, but there's three spawn points for spinos within a two minute flight of my base (just across from Cragg's Island) that respawn spinos several times a day. (Admittedly many are low level, but you kill those and a new one is there an hour or two later.)

Check rivers leading to swamps

when i am scouting for them, i literally check every single inch of existing river :P

Also any rivers that run near the base of mountains (example double waterfall red and brown colored river in NW) usually has a few

the river between the snow biome and the swamp its huge a spino spawns there often high lvl. ive seen several 10s spawn. theres a island on the south where a spawn is and another spawn a couplel islands over from it. they are not rare.

How many bases are up and down these rivers?

Have you ever just sat in your single player mode and watched the spino spawns?

Yes, i know that river pretty well as well

I see Spinos 24/7.. When looking in the swamps, they are sometimes not noticeable due to the camo. Yet, I see them in the south all the time at the ends of the rivers swimming around where the river meets the ocean.

They spawn in the river near the snow biome, it just happens not that often like them spawning in the litte lake on eastern Deep-Island.

I hope they don´t increase Spino but decrease Rex´s spawning-rates... or exchange some rex-spawns with another upcoming carnivore.

I saw like one in a whole day of searching for terror birds and galis

My base is on the Southern Islands and they spawn like crazy. Sometimes, I see three or four of them on one place.

I actually used to see a good amount of spinos spawn to the right of what looks like an island with a lake (thats not there -_-) in the middle of it, at like 80 45, in that gulf that gets its water from the river that runs right by a cliff, they used to go scuba diving in that gulf haha

Maybe people build things in spino spawn area.
On my server is very easy to find spino in south rivers
