Floor/Roof Tiles don't stop rain?

Just wondering if there are any plans to fix rain going through a floor or roof peice that doesn't have walls or a foundation under it? I want to make a overhang to hang out under during the rain but rain just falls right through it making it useless :(

if the structure is small enough it will, you will see a house icon on your HUD, if the structure is too big to gain the boost then it will not appear and will still rain inside, if the structure is small enough but its still raining, then your to close to the external door

Anything higher than 4 walls height won't stop raid or show house icon. Anything below 4 walls heights show house icon and also stop raid falling thru

Not true, my church is much higher than 5 walls and it only rains when I'm near the outter walls or under the metalglasses (mod).

My tower reaches the max build height and it never rains in it.

It's just the rain animation, the effect doesn't occur (e.g. your thirst won't go away if you're under a roof/ceiling while it rains).

I know I am looking for the effects to be changed .. it should reconize when it hits something with collision and not go thru it

It needs work. Some of my structures rain inside, others do not.

It's very annoying, it still happens in most of my structures. The devs said they fixed it in a patch that came out in 2015 iirc but obviously there are still issues. I definitely look forward to the day it's fixed once and for all.
