Fullscreen

I've owned this game for a while now , Haven't bothered to play it because the stupidest of problems exist and it's still not fixed.


I can't play this game in fullscreen at all , I've tried switching between to windowed fullscreen then back to full screen and I'm always windowed just stretched to my resolution..

WHY can I not do the basic function of simply running this game in fullscreen , I've never in my entire life had a problem like this except with Ark..

I can run it no problem full screen... have you tried to alt+enter it yet? thats the default full screen option on most games

try reset resolution in steam start menu

Unfortunately neither of these worked , still just a strecthed boxed window fitting my resolution :/

Did you try alt+enter when you're in the game?

Since this was revived by the both of you , It's cause I'm a owner of a DK2 , Ark recognizes that and sets my game to windowed by default , and it can't be changed unless i Disable my DK2 config utlility.

No need to disable Oculus config, just hit power button on dk2.

I have the same issue. Doesn't work at all in Fullscreen, Window mode works just fine. Running on Linux with a i7 4770K, 16GB ram, GTX970 Strix, 256GB SSD. :-/

I had the same issue but when I cliked on ark to run it I didn't make the game fullscreen at first, I waited until I was in the game and than I pressed the fullscreen and it worked.

I am sure all those people from 3 and a half years ago really appreciate this late information. It is not likely they already either fixed their problem or have stopped playing ark by now. That is sarcasm btw.

I do appreciate it, because I just got a 49 inch monitor and its a pain in my arsh to make it work.

Lol looked at this convo trying to find a command to make the game fullscreen. I wrote "fullscreen" in the control panel and it worked just fine.
