Terror Birds - more like a Suicide Birds

I swear, every time i found bunch of them its like:
"woohoo, let's go kill that ankylo!!"...
...30 seconds later - ALL birds dead. And yes, i always saw them in minimum group of 3.

I won't ask to buff the birds themselves (ffs this game need less OP dinos like giga, not more), but at least tweak their AI. They should not attack almost anything on sight. And with so little health they have - they certainly should at least try to flee from fight they can't win.

The first terror birds I watched were corpses being eaten by a Sabertooth. They could use a melee buff, it seems from my tamed 178 base. 450-ish melee takes forever to kill things. It has to be like, 15 base.

Mine can take are of a Rex if I hit and run. Although more melee would be nice. I saw one wreck a Parasaur though

Parasaurs don't fight back. They actually will be more natural prey for terror bird. But ankylo?... no, just no, they should not attack ankylos at all.

my 120 taht tamed out to a 166 (narcotic and prime crisis) only got like 245 melee.....

Once again, i don't think they need buff. Those are very specific pets, that trade overall fighting capability for ability to descend safely from nearly any heights, like in Death Isle cave.
Yes you will need to tame high level bird for that, and you will need to level it up. And even then its not gonna be as stupidly easy as with wolves or cats, who can rampage through entire cave and walk away with 90% health left. It will be tough, and that's how it should be.
But seeing wild birds die so often and so stupidly fast... it shouldn't be like that.

Rex's are the same way. I was looking to find a male for mate bonus on my female. I went over to the south east where they spawn, but full of herbivores. I spend like 20-30 minutes killing everything with my pte. Trikes, paras, even like 5 or 6 low level brontos. Finally a rex spawns. But he immediately heads for this group of brontos. 4 or 5 of them, some of them over level 100. He's just level 35. I couldn't get him to aggro me before he got to them and they slaughtered him.

Oh btw, in its dossier it says it has great meele (3 check marked claws)
