Maybe you can drag it in an enclosed space? Can you do this with a quetz?
not exactly sure what you mean
if you grapple a quetz you cant pull it to yourself, if you reel in you will move yourself to the quetz not the other way.. this will happen with every medium sized and larger animals for example i tried this on wild quetz, parasaur, ptero and galliminus to all these if you reel in you will move to them and if they move they will drag you around and if you damage them the hook will break
and i didnt test what happens if grapple an animal then mount up and move...though with these limitations i think the hook will break
What you can do is grapple your own bird, have it attack this target and it will chase down the Quetz while dragging you. Then whistle passive before it hits and start tranqing the quetz. Repeat until it's KO'd. First thing I did this update and it's the most interesting tame I've had in this game.
If your on a server that has platform turrets firing at 50/50 issue, then you need to be careful that your bird doesn't follow the quetz to closely there. Almost lost a ptera to it.
