Taming not working in single player

I have deleted my world multiple times and changed taming x and havesting etc but the taming doesnt work when i put food in the dinos

its in every dino i have tried to tame raptor meat prime or raw , turtle any berries ,dodo ,any berries , rex meat taming bar doesnt come up

What is your setting for taming speed set to? It can be confusing which direction you should adjust it to speed taming and I have seen many people turn it all the way down thinking they were lowering taming time when in reality they were slowing it down to almost nothing (can appear to be nothing).

lol thanks i sorted it had to delete my character it wasnt the settings there was a bug in my player profile

Odd because calling people dumb sounds like an insult. Its a simple case of the initial reaction to "multiplier" must mean "bigger". So it could be easy to quickly think of it as multiplier meaning more time. Also in your comment it seemed as though you were calling RDJ dumb. At the end of the day everyone that comes to this forum has a question to ask including yourself. Had someone implied you were dumb for asking this, id have defended you in the same way.

If someone is being rude or breaking the rules, report them and move on. Nubsly is OP with the rightful ban hammer when people break the rules.

Just in case anyone still has this problem like me: check your settings for dino food. If it's turned all the way up to max so they never get hungry (like mine was), you can't tame them, because they won't need to eat for ages. Fixed it on my side :)
