Tamed Dino's not laying eggs, getting mate boosted or mating at all
I play on a single player world with a few small mods (Stacking mod, lystro, snail food, and eco's decoration). I have 2 Argies thati have been trying to get to mate, i have put them on wander, enabled mating all that stuff but they dont even get mate boosted. For some reason one it says one has been tamed by me and the other has been tamed by my tribe even tho im playing by myself and didnt make a tribe. I suspect this may be why they wont mate but they should atleast get mate boosted. My female dinos dont lay any eggs either but i can find eggs from wild dinos. I have wiped all the wild dinos incase there were too many but that didnt work and i have tried moving them but no luck :(. Any suggestions?

Edit: I have fixed the issue with the breeding, turns out it was the tribe tame which affected it. But still no normal eggs coming from the female dinos. Perhaps I will try getting an oviraptor.

How close are they together? Do you have a male with your egg laying females? They will only lay once in a great while if a male is not close by. I use one male to three females. Mating dinos need to be right next to each other.

They were put in a 5x5 area together on wander. But I have fixed the mating issue as it was the fact that one was tamed by my 'tribe' and the other was tamed by me. I got another female and they mated and made a fertilized egg. No regular eggs from my female dinos tho ;-;

Vanilla Egg Interval Rates:
• Dodos have a 13% chance every 100-300 seconds (has to be rendered to tick down, unless hitched or in terminal). Does not require mate boost.
• Egg layers have a 13% chance every 17 minutes (ticks down in stasis, only attempts when rendered unless hitched or in terminal). Requires mate boost (not to be confused with "mating" in and of itself). Females only.

Ovis boost poop (Dodo) and egg laying intervals. Ovi boost will make the following rates:
• Dodos have a 13% chance every 67-200 seconds.
• Egg layers have a 13% chance every 11 minutes and 20 seconds.

These are rates at 1x multipliers. Modded dinos can alter some of these rates.
