Best way to get charcoal?

I’m on Ragnarok and have heard about the megatherium being able to easily gather heaps from the trees that are burnt. This didn’t work for me and then I searched it up and found out it’s a bug that has been around a while. I remember hearing it in late 2018, but I forgot quickly. What would be the next best option for gathering charcoal? I have heard some people say wyverns but I wasn’t sure and wasn’t wanting to put the time in at the moment if it wouldn’t work. This is probably a often asked question but and a device or help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)

How about burn wood in the forges/campfire/etc ?

The best way? chainsaw -> tree -> tek forge for instant (or industrial forge + time or normal forge/campfire + more time)

If you want charcoal really quick, i'd advice getting a chainsaw and going to the Volcano area and harvest the dead charcoal trees there, i remembered last time just using my wyverns wingflapping ability while landed and got a ton. hope it helps.

Craft like 5 to 10 metal hatchets. Go to a safe-ish area that's dense in trees. On rag, the area around the blue obilisk is a good spot. Gather the resources for and make no less than 10 camp fires. Place them all down in a way they are easily accessible. Cut some wood for each of them and lite them to get them going. After that deforest the entire area and fill up the camp fires.

While buring go do other stuff, gather some metal, tame some creatures ect.

If you're higher level and we'll established, just use the industrial forge.
