Stones and Metal Nodes not Respawning Nearby on Non-Dedicated Server
My friend and I have been playing on a non-dedicated server for a while, and are having trouble getting metal nodes and stone to respawn. We first mined them ~10-12 real life hours (in game) ago, and they have yet to return. We knew that things can't respawn too close to foundations, but we've even tried putting the sliders to zero, and they still won't respawn. We traveled to a nearby mountaintop, and mined the nodes there with the sliders on zero, and a few would actually respawn instantly as the node was destroyed. The mountain's nodes would respawn just fine, even if we were right there, so why won't the nodes near our base respawn? I've tried re-fertilizer too, but that doesn't seem to do anything at all.

EDIT: Rocks that were already nearby when I changed the sliders will instantly respawn when mined, even the ones right next to our base, but nodes that were destroyed upon changing the sliders refuse to respawn.

If this is your server, then i suggest spawning in re-fertilizer or setting respawn time to 0 for resources.

(I generally spawn in re-fertilizer because it's annoying to make in bulk and feels like something that doesn't need to be so expensive.)

I already tried using re-fertilizer, and it didn't do anything. The resource timer was tried at zero, it just made pre-existing nodes respawn instantly, but didn't bring back the ones that were gone.

in singleplayer and i quess non dedicated resources that haven't spawned back in upon leaving the game sometimes bug out and are lost forever or for a really long time.

Long term bug. If you quit without it spawning you run the risk of losing it forever.

Lowering respawn time is a preventative measure but doesnt fix it once its a problem.
