tamed dino not doing any damage

Sorry if i am not following posting protocol. I don't ever post so am not sure if I am in the right spot.

that said I am extremely FRUSTRATED!!!! 400 hours in, 15 tamed rexes, massive fortress, brood of dire wolves, and all of a sudden noticed that my rexes don't damage or aggro other dinos. I went back multiple saves to when i know they were still doing damage and in those saves they don't either.

Spent a day on this. Reinstalled ark. Can't find any way to get support from Wildcard.

Not sure what to do. any ideas?

Seems to be a few with this issue.

Have you verified your files?

yes i did. found 3 corrupt and replaced them. destroyed my fortress as it was built with structure plus mod.

decided to reinstall whole game and still have the problem. I have been googling all day and haenvt seen anything similar.

It is my Rexes. the odd dino they can attacked but most they don't do damage or even aggro. they don't seem to take damage from those other dinos either. w

Where did you see others may be having this problem?

What happens if you tame a new Rex... or cryopod them or upload/download.

It seems to be issue with the update effecting rexes that many people are having. I don't use rexes so I am not really effected by it myself, but I am sure WC is aware of it by now and will be fixing it soon.

Hmmm. I have searched but don't see anything. Will keep trying to find other posts. I will try and tame a new one. I don't have or know how to use cryopod yet. will research and try that.

Also don't know how to upload/download as I just play single player.

Does Wildcard have a list of known bugs they are working on somewhere that you know of?

Even if they did (wich they dont) ... it wouldnt have bugs introduced with the very latest patch

Seem to be having the same issue. None of my rexes seem to be able attack any predators at all. Tested with a previous tame from weeks ago and one from today. I also observed the behavior from wild rexes on Dead island endlessly chasing scorpions around biting at them and only hitting air.

UPDATE:

It appears my rexes can damage Herbivores but not Carnivores.

Also experiencing this problem, as well as having negative engram points (?). Rexes do absolutely no damage; not even to trees or corpses. other creatures seem to be fine. So yeah.
