Ark Game Crashes when Downloading dinosaurs to a different map.

Welp, This game irritates me some days when I go to upload dinosaurs. When I go to download them to a different map, The game white windows me and crashes. When I go to log back in my items are gone and the dinosaurs won't download. I'm getting pretty upset about this and the people who made Ark need to frigging fix it. I know I'm know the only one whose had these issues. I don't know how to fix it really.

I had the same problem a few days ago. It always crashed after transfering about the third dino and nothing I did helped. I validated my files several times and it still happened. I then only downloaded a single dino evey time and logged out and back in and proceded with the next one.
One after the next. It was in sp by the way.
After the first time this happened I always backed up my saves folder just in case.

I don´t know if my mods were the problem, but after several other crashes I now play completely without mods and so far I haven´t had a crash yet.

I have this issue as well, I also do use mods and in SP. The only way I found to avoid / work around this is to use another mod. Dino Storage v2, which can allow you to move tames as items; like gear, structures, food etc.

I say can as it has .ini files options to which you can disable it I believe, it is very configurable.

Yeah, I've been using cryopods as well to move them. Wyverns dont like the extinction map lol

I know I'm super late to this but if anyone is having this problem and reading, something you could do, if playing single player or on dedicated/nondedicated server etc as admin, is saving each time you download with the command admincheat saveworld. It's pretty annoying but at least you can prevent some losses.
