Went to get my first artifact and its not there???

I cleared the cave out with my dinos, but nothing has changed. I cant find it anywhere, and i looked up pictures of its spawnpoint.

I decided to try another artifact cave and the artifact was there, so they are spawning... Apperently this artifact is bugged or something, and i dont have the steam to try it again.

Whats wrong with it? The artifact is the skylord one.

I don't know about the achievement bit. But remember the achievements only count for The Island by memory.

Pretty sure you've had a number of threads where people have told you that SP is a mess and you should really self host a dedicated server.

Ark is MP... What they call "SP" is literally a hacked together server & client in one. It responds about as well as you'd expect in this case.

I only ever use SP to mess around and test things that I then implement on my servers.

Ok, so i do use a dedicated server. But i dont actually pay for it, some people seem to pay for their servers so do i have to buy one to get a stable game?

I am on singleplayer, but its a private dedicated server i made for myself.

Ok please don't jumble the jargon and terms like that you're only creating confusion.
Single Player, Non-Dedicated, and Dedicated... Are all game modes or server types. Whether you play them with, or without, other people is besides the point.

So if you have setup a dedicated server then don't tell people you play SP ;-).
Whether the dedicated server is hosted by yourself, or some third party company, doesn't matter in the slightest. It's the same software.

How are you managing your dedicated server? Ark server manager? Steamcmd and custom scripts? Avoid using the ingame options for dedicated server.

As far as this issue occurring on Dedicated servers. Can't say I have ever had this as an issue. I run 5 servers in a cluster and none of my users have ever reported the issue. Though sometimes it is slow to spawn.

No it wont. But some artifacts(nw island one especially) not spawning in single player is a common issue.

However, there are mods that can give you every achievement in the game instantly as well so achievements arent necessarily as important as you may think outside the skins etc they provide.

If you spawn in the artifact container, then grab the artifact from the container, it will count towards the achievement.

No, it won't count for the achievement. However, I got the artifact by returning to the mouth of the cave and then coming back. The artifact was there.

I noticed that Artifacts are a bit slow to respawn. The moment you enter the cave for the first time, the respawn timer starts. So you just have to wait for a bit.
