Allo stats
What are the best stats for taking Allo on boss fights in single player. What are the minimum HP and minimum Melee? (I already have Rexes ready just in case somebody tell me I should take rexes. I'm just doing Allo for fun.)

It depends on what your max dinosaur level is, and if you have single player settings enabled. But I would suggest you to look at Dododex, in which I believe has a area in which you can check and see if your dinosaurs stats are good or not. I don't know very much about community opinions, so that's why I suggested it.

Here it is, I don't know how it works, or if you can say what your custom server settings are. All this will do is say if your dinosaurs stats are "good". I'm sure you can figure it out.

Hopefully this assists you in some way.

Thanks for the tip but I already have a good base stats. I just need to know how much I should pump into HP and Melee.

part of me would say maybe go 50-50 on both....but if you want to make sure they have a better chance of surviving attacks then you can go and put more points into their HP, thing is im not completely sure so im just giving my opinion

if you are not checking the single-player mode box in the options, (for instance i use ASM so it has official server style stats) i would say 500 to 600% melee and everything else into health. You ride a Yuty and courage them up through the fight.

Dragon is a different situation though, since it has a percentage-of-max-health damage attack, it is more of a DPS race and Melee is more important (though health should still be decent) So the dragon kinda demands a specialized bossfight build and tactics.

EDIT - saddle quality plays a big role in this too. You dont need health as high if you have incredible ascendant saddles or max armor saddles.

Check the Alternative Dinos thread here on Steam by Kitsune... or maybe Hippo Chaser. They tested this very thing recently.

I've run allos on mega /brood a long time ago with success but as they hit less than rexes I imagine they need more hp for longer fights.

For alpha mega / brood I run 35k hp rexes on 90 armor saddles and brood usually kills a couple, your allos need at least that assuming you don't have a serious amount of mutations.

I don't run rexes for alpha Dragon and last time I ran Rexes for beta Dragon it wrecked my 21k hp rexes. Need a lot of mutations there and even well mutated zinos get wrecked on alpha Dragon.
