Asked and answerred pretty frequently now: No.

I recommend watching their twitter and official website and discords for when they may post it (if at all) before they launch it this month).

if it is going to be in UE 5 then i would use that basis of other games using UE 5 and use that as a baseline

with ue5 you will need a 40series card so you can use frame gen or you will be cutting down the graphic setting a lot.

You mean 30's, not many people dish out for 40s.... 30's card will be a good middle ground allowing you to play on very high, anything lower than 30s expect medium graphics.... However as most computer players you may have to tweak certain stuff i.e shadows and so on (which I don't see the need for ultra shadow quality anyways)

my best guess without upscaling and raytracing stuff or lumen

rtx 2080 and ryzen 5600x/7600x for 1080p high
rtx 3080/3080ti and ryzen 5700x/7700x for 1440p high
rtx 4080 and ryzen 5700x/7700x 4k high.
for nvidia and for amd
rx 6700xt and ryzen 5600x/7600x for 1080p high
rx 6800xt and ryzen 5700x/7700x for 1440p high
rx 7900xtx and ryzen 5700x/7700x for 4k high.

1080ti is a little slower than a 2080 while having more vram so no not at all. especially not if they implement an upscaler like fsr.

of course i can be very wrong. but usually its pretty predictable what ue perf will be.

I probably will not be able to play ASA any time soon as my PC has an i7 4900 series and a 980Ti. I am trying to upgrade my PC to a better one but lack money.

Yeah thats going to be a problem. but i havent heard of a i7-4900 unless mobile. But do you mean the 4930k? 4960k? anyway, yea your better off getting something new. or maybe buying a used i7 8700k build orso. and then buying a 6650xt as they can be had for not that much new. somewhere between 200-300 and should be more than enough for 1080p. you could also get a 4060. but they cost a bit more.

Yes a 4960. Couldn't remember what the last 2 digits were so I went with 4900 series. If I get a new PC my plan is to get something that isn't going to be bottom end in the next 5 years. I am waiting for prices to drop enough to be affordable.

then your looking at something like

7600x + 7700xt or 7800xt + ddr5 6000 + MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI + a 750 watt psu preferably seasonic focus plus 750 gold or corsair rm750e . that will be more than enough for 1080p with upgrade paths to better cpus via simply upgrading bios.

I will probably aim for something around the i9 14k series. and a 4090 equivalent. This way it would be another 10-15 years before I need to upgrade again.

If they took all the assets they had in SE and moved them from UE4 to UE5, the resulting game would require Less memory, smoother, on a lesser machine.

Nanite reduces the resource drain of rendering massive numbers of tri/polygons, and Lumen reduces the resource cost of complex lighting.

Features that didn't exist then, but which are supported, will of course require a card capable of using them, but otherwise, the game shouldn't require anything more than SE... because the figure meshes simply didn't increase as much in detail as Nanite effects in a reduction in cost.
... then again... Wildcard - while capable of making a great game, and having a great idea, are not, by any stretch, talented developers. They were even commenting about having difficulty learning to use 5... a transition that took me about 2 days, and I wasn't being paid to do it.

There is, of course, one new requirement you'll have to accept.
That Snail are corrupt douchebags who will ban players for playing the game As Intended, if it means they lose.

If you aren't familiar with the subject, the special event PvP servers... a tribe raided the TEA tribe, which is known to host a number of Snail employees.
They responded by having wildcard Ban everyone in the tribe from all public servers.

For PvPing on a PvP server. And they didn't even Accuse them of cheating - because the tribe raiding them were streaming the whole thing, and everyone could see they weren't.
