Large quantities of Giant Bee honey?

Hello,
my brother and I are planing our preperation for the Alpha Bosses on The Island and have run into the issue of Bee honey.
The general recommendations found online are to bring 10-20 cakes into the Alpha Dragon fight which means 760 Honey on the high end for that fight alone.
We started our farm a bit late into the playthrough and are now looking at 25+ hours of waiting, assuming we expand our farm of 7 hives to 25 of them.

Is there a better way? If it is dire bears: How do you get them into range of the hives? Scrounging around cliff sides seems not very fruitful given the amount of hives needed.

The mod "Ark Eternal Multi Storage Box" (former HG) has a seed crafter that makes a seed for bee hive "plants". Iirc those were quite productive put into a greenhouse.

Are you playing on 'The Island' only with no way to access Valguero? There are honey nodes there that return a lot and no dangers.

given that I do not know what Valguero is I would assume no.
I am playing on the first story map (island) with no further content mods.

It was a thought. Valguero ( I think the spelling needs a check ) is a free DLC Map for ARK. Lots of new stuff there. But if you aren't playing where you can Transfer from map to map through the obelisk or drops then it was a worthless thought. sry , good luck anyway.

If you can install mods, use structures plus.

Adds a thing called domesticated bee hives. Put flowers in, wait, get honey. When you harvest the domesticated hives, they don't try to sting you. Endless supply of honey, as long as you keep supplying them with flowers.

Takes giant bee honey to make them, but once you have 1-2 and a fridge, you can just making new ones until getting enough flowers to feed them all is a problem.
