WARNING - For Host Havoc Server Owners!

Hi guys, I have been a multiple server owner for Host Havoc since August. Up until now I have enjoyed them and other than a couple of minor issues, it's been a pretty good place to host, especially for those on a budget.

So here is the problem that happened to me, and this mainly concerns anyone who has either multiple servers with them or who might have cancelled a server with them in the past and it is still showing up in the billing panel. I have had 3 different servers with them at various times since August. I recently had 2 going at the same time, but was not using the second one so I decided to cancel the service with that one. The only thing was that the billing screen was kind of confusing as to which server was which so I sent in a ticket asking which server was the one for the ip address I wanted to keep. They got back with me pretty fast as always and told me to cancel the one that had been activated on X date. So I did that and went on my way. Then the other day rolls around and they cancelled the active server instead. I realized it the next morning and sent in a ticket telling them that they had cancelled the wrong server. This went back and forth for about an hour, then they told me they would have to get with their "higher ups" to resolve it as they could not. So like 5 hours goes by and suddenly my server shows back up, but its been wiped and is now someone elses server. When the "higher ups" finally got back with me, it was just to say that there had been a "mix up" and that was that. No real apology for losing the save files, no other real explanation or offer to make anything right. So for anyone out there who has multiple servers and wants to shut one down, be careful. I'm not butthurt here or trying to get people to not use them, just be careful if this situation applies to you. I do have quite a few people who were peeved by this and I feel bad for them, but in the end I guess it's to be expected.
