so far I have about.. 90 -100 bunny dodo's and am getting an average of 15 - 20 eggs an hour.
I'm on a PvE official server (can't carry wild dinos using birds). So I guess I just gotta follow them around and wait?
"The chance of getting a bunny egg from these dodo bunnies is abysmal. I switched over to single player, made a cage and spawned forty or so dodos. To speed up the process I turned slomo to 100. After twenty minutes of sitting there I only saw three eggs. Remember that is with the game time sped up.
Considering gathering even half the dodo bunnies is nigh impossible on a multiplayer server and slomo is also not an option... Needless to say the rate is ridiculous. How the hell are we expected to get 600 for the dodo Rex let alone 200 for the costume."
And because I'm a PvE player:
"This sounds like absolute ♥♥♥♥ on official PvE servers. Are we expected to just follow them around until they lay eggs? Meantime everyone else can just gather them up in a pen with multiple and wait..."
But they're rare and just as weak than regular dodos so they die quickly :(
You can grapple them and drag them around just fine on a PVE server.
Even if we group together ... let's say a male with 3 fem BunnyDodos. The droprate for easter eggs is painfully low as my tribe found out so far.
Oh yeah i find alot by the hidden lake, but not in the hidden lake. They are spawning at the beach by the hidden lake. Then go along the beach W,N,S,E. Found already 24 of them there. But only got a problem there not tamable, i always kill them. And picking them up with my argie dont work either. So im gonna try it now with grappeling them.
