ARK Server won't update to the newest version?

I use the ARK Server Manager for my server, and everytime I try to update it, it's like 0.1 or more versions off. (It updated to 236.6 now, and not 236.7 for some reason) I have this problem for quite a while now, but why? There were no problems before.

ASM also has the weird problem to take AGES to start up the server. (It literally just took 25 minutes to fully start up, what before just took 2 minutes.)
I believe I have these problems since version 231. Very frustrating.

Oh yeah, and my server isn't even showing up ingame in the "LAN" list anymore. (What is weird, because I can clearly see it in the steam server list.) But that's another story.

Yeah sometimes client version and server version are seperate. Steam notes the client version, wich often has upddates that are not neccesary for the server. Usualy, it's noted in the patch notes, if servers need to be updated or not.

even if you haven't updated the server since 3 weeks (if the mods would still be up to date) the server would be shown as online. seven server version 236.0 is connectable with your client. Only major patches like 237 that is comming out today won't allow you to join unless you update the server

Huh, alright, that's actually really good to know. I always thought that was the problem. Then I really don't know what else could be the problem that causes the server not to be in the LAN list. I have NO mods installed...
I'm right now trying to install a new one, but I'm almost positive, that that server also won't work.

mods need to be up to date or you wont see the server.

som host's have settings where you hide your server from the list in ark... try look around for that setting...

some hosts have diffrent ports that needs a quary port 2016 or 2015...

im not 100% sure but so far as i know its something with your quary port... dependss where u rent ur server or how u setup is that dosnt show ur server on the list.

if mods are not updated people just get a mod mismatch when they try to join..

Hey, that seemed to do the trick! I used 27016 now and forwarded it in my router, and now I see it in the list again! Thank you so much!

Make sure your asm is up to date.... I usually go to their download page and replace the old asm with the new ones.
