ARK's Ugly and inaccurate dinosaurs

Let's get straight into it: Ark survival evolved's dinosaurs looks like ♥♥♥♥. first of all they are so inaccurate it is almost offensive, second of all they dont even look that good, the t.rex looks ridicilous. Sometimes it feels like Wildcard doesen't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the dinosaurs, they just look at them like if they were movie monsters. They used to be real animals and i dont feel like wildcard understands that. And btw add feathers to your naked ,scaly and ugly dinosaurs. It is 2016 and it is common knowledge that all dromeosaurs possesed feathers. And even the t.rex had feathers. And fix how the diosaurs walk and run (some). But it's a great game i love it.

it's not meant to be realistic. be glad there are even feathers ingame at all.

Yeah, ARK was never based on realism...like, at all. They never really intended this to be realistic, if you want more realistic dinos and pre-historic creatures go take a look at The Isle.

Why can't you people understand that these are not real dinosaurs! The devs have created their own species so they can look however they want! It's not even a T-Rex its called T-Dominum. Therefore NOT T-Rex! There are giant floating mystical towers in the sky, monsters like the dragon and the brood mother and possible aliens that dump you on an island inhabited by prehistoric creatures. It's not meant to be realistic.

I swear to god if I see another post like this I'm gonna bash my head off a steel beam or something.

Hey Survivor,

While I can appreciate your passion and dedication to scientific accuracy, we take a good deal of artistic license in our Dino's as they aren't technically the same exact subspecies you're familiar with.

If you take a moment to compare what's written on our Dossiers vs the real life counter parts, you'll notice the names are typically varied in some way.

As with anything artistic or creative, it's not very likely you'll satisfy everyone and some people will almost always be on the other side of the fence. It's fairly safe to assume at this point that the vast majority of players either aren't too upset about it, don't care, like them, or love them.

We're always looking to improve and we love getting feedback of all kinds, even if it's presented in a less than pleasant manner.

I think Ark aims more towards cartoony rather than realism which is ok I guess. To each their own.
