River Crossing: Help
Is there any really good way to cross Megapiranha-infested waters without losing my or my dinosaur's feet (not that I have any I would be taking with me)? I'm trying to get to the mountain in the middle of the Southern Islets but I know for a fact there are various infested waters on the way. Building bridges would be far too time-consuming as well.

raft, fly with a bird, bridge even time consuming and maybe frogs that can swim and jump.

Well, I would take out my Pike.. go into First Person mode and enter the water just far enough to agro the Piranha, then backout and stab them in the face from a standing position, do this till all are dead then cross the river. sweet..to easy.

When you cross set your dinos to passive so the don't attack the piranhas

^^ yep, that too. be careful tho ..a couple of high level Piranhas can take out dino's real quick, so dont cross at the widest/deepest part of a river if you can help it..

no, don't do this... They can't defend themselves if they are on passive

You just run through and they push there way past but only some dinos and in shallower area

all good suggestions, firstly always have spear or pike depending on level, secondly and the most important imo ... choose a shallow crossing. Shallow areas are marked by green river grass and will usually be accompanied by river rocks. Piranha cant breathe out of water so kite them up onto the banks or a rock they should die as they attempt to jump out at you
