Niggling response.... it is not a barrel roll, it is an aileron roll.
A barrel roll makes a circle when viewed from the side. An Aileron roll makes a circle when viewed from the front or rear.

Semantics aside. We all know this move is inspired by Star Fox and even if it's wrongly named, it is still a "Barrel Roll" in my books - again, with naming and aviation terminology semantics aside.
