Plz recommend settings for GTX 770M Laptop

My system exceeds the minimum req. But I can't get it to look good or run at a playable rate.

Sys info:
Win10 Laptop
NVidia GTX 770M
Intel 17-4800MQ CPU @ 2.70GHz
24 GB RAM (I'm a video editor. It's normal)

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Try around, just because you have the minimal req doesnt mean it will look good. You will have to compromise and either play on medium-high graphics with maybe 15-30fps or on low graphics with 30+

You might be able to get 30+ on low or 20 on med-low. My machines a little bit lesser with Win 7 and a 765m But I can get about 20 frames on low with only textures turned up. It's view distance and clutter that kills it at least for me. =/

I don’t know of any reasonably priced laptops that could run this game with playable graphics quality. 1 year old 1000$ laptop and it is still ugly AF and only good for AFK-ing.

True, you need a decent pc or a killer laptop to run it if you want to enjoy graphics.

Pretty much =/ Unforunately I don't have a choice and have no room for a desktop. Hopefully the optimization phase will help this out a lot but I'm not holding my breath.

I recommend to get a desktop pc, because laptops aren't made for gaming, they are made for working. Especially in the case of ark.
But a lot of people won't accept it.

lowest of low settings and you can play the game. a mobile gpu is way too weak for ark

Depends on your definition of "laptop". Any laptop you can buy from stock sucks for gaming, but.i got a custom build laptop that can run ark on epic. My specs:
16gb ddr3 ram
I5 4790 (i believe) with 4ghz (usually overtacted)
And a tripple nvidia gtx 980m

And yes that works in a gaming notebook case, with external battery since i removed it for space

i guess you should try 75% resolution scale with a mix of medium low graphics. maybe one on high like Anti aliasing..

Well, its not my definition but i got bored with building normal pcs and wanted to try something out n_n

I agree, if your definition of laptop is anything you buy from stock you are better of for gaming by getting a normal pc

I wish I had the space for a full PC but since that's a no go, I'm stuck with a laptop. It's not the best but it can play most games just fine. Except ARK. It hates ARK D:
