Ark 2 and Ark Ascended drama

So, basically the devs threw the bundle under the bus because they acknowledged that putting Ark 2 in that bundle is counter productive as we buy something we haven't seen before. So instead, we now only buy the remake and also have to spend 10 bucks more. Now they argue we actually save money as all prior DLCs are now within that 60 bucks version and won't cost anything when released, prior to that they actually wanted to charge another 40 bucks or so for those which is mental.
However, we still buy something that we have never seen before as there is no real footage of the remake either, so where is that logic even coming from? It makes no sense whatsoever.
And Wildcard proves that they don't give a damn about their customers since they also put down all servers at the end of August I believe and their solution to people losing all their progress is to have us download the savegames so we can host private servers. How is that helping anyone?
So basically, we have to pay AAA title money in order to play a game we have been playing since 2015 and the only difference is, that it looks better. Wow, they not only failed every single release date they put out over all those years but also failed the promise for the remake. What a move.

Not all the servers are being shut down. Just Official servers. Unofficial Servers will still be going. And you can still play single player.

Yes, separating the 2 is good because if someone doesn't want either of the games they are not forced to buy it, but to claim we will save money by charging more for both games is insane...

Well, you do in fact save money because they previously were aiming to sell the DLCs of the remake as well for about 40 bucks, that is now included when paying for the remake but yeah, you're right. If you wanna buy both titles that won't save you money and is probably way more than before.

Remember Atlas? They already tried to give this turd a fresh coat of paint and it's still in Early Access years later despite being an extremely low effort re-skin. This company is blatantly anti consumer on top of being creatively bankrupt and it is very funny when they try to make video games. Can't wait to watch people rubber band around an asset flip open world collecting logs (exciting gameplay) at 24 fps on a 4090.
