Vin is one of the producers not just with Ark 2 but also the animated series.
I can drink to that.
Idk despite it's issues it still tickles me in such way that makes me go "haww yeah!"
And then there's the Community.. THIS is where Vin's "Family" mentality comes into play. While on PvP servers you might struggle to find anyone that wont slaughter you, on PvE servers its VERY different. My tribe on Island 867 (xbox), is one of, if not the biggest tribe on the server, and we Actively work to help other players on the server, new or old.
If we see a new player struggling to figure out the game, we ask where they are, bring them a free Argy, rex, anky, a few supplies to help them build their first base, and show them a few pointers before sending them on their way. This goes a Long way in keeping them interested in the game and ensuring they dont rage-quit within the first few hours as so many do.
It also makes the community on our server one of the friendliest I've ever played with, with almost everyone actively working with and trying to help each other out. There are very few bad eggs on our server, and the ones that do pop up dont tend to stick around very long once they see how well we all work together.
Wait & see is the approach I would take. I certainly will not be one of the first ones to buy this for $69.99+ even if it truly becomes a GOAT title.
