ARK: taking forever to load

While the normal start up point for my ark is 2-5 seconds, the load up time for any map excluded of mod installation time on my end is anywhere from 40-1hr and 30 minutes.
any suggestions on help? and after that even crashes itself Or blue screens the computer bad enough to where a gif image is stuck on it.
(ps: my computer is only bout 3yrs old, and i cant find the specifics for it but its a dell, intel core i7)

I only have 16 pages of mods and less then that are installed onto the ark specifically.
Any help getting this faster would be absolutely thankful- I have bad memory storage on my primary so all of my apps are on my OS: Seagate. (3TB)

Your specs for you to copy and paste are found here at the top under help, System Information. Just copy and paste it here.

16 pages of mods is a crap ton of mod, please post exactly which mod you are using and their load order. Also, I hope you are installed at minimum on an internal SSD, M.2 best.
If you are installed on a HDD, that will be the cause of your long load time.

on an SSD with 30 mods (depending on their size) takes approx 2 to 3 minutes max.

You say excluded of mod installation?

If you mean you have no mods installed and its taking 30+ minutes then you'll want to check the state of the drive, for a files repair (twice in a row as first does not always work) and perhaps backup and re-install

But if you mean you have mods installed and thats when it takes time... Thats normal for this game because its badly optimised for mods / each mod will increase the load time.
- If so, test a new map without any mods

SDD is almost a must for this game (especially if using any mods)

What is An SDD or an HDD btw? i don't believe i use any of these abverbs but the processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz, 3000 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
^^ which i have no idea what it is and im working on getting rid of "filler" workshop stuff right now so give me a minute to get back to the mods

i don't own / use google unforunately due to memory issues, i do however use bing- but if you have a specific articular(? zero idea if thats right or not), let me know how to search it?

HDD= Hard Disk Drive
You telling us what you have does not help, you need to go here at the top where it says "Help", than when you click on it you will click on " System Information", Than you copy all of it and paste it here (CTRL + V to paste).

So again, if you have the game installed on a HDD with all these mods having to load, it WILL take you 40 minutes to 90 minutes to load.

Like I said, my game is on an SSD, all DLC + mod maps and 30 mods and it takes me 2 to 3 minutes to load in Max.

You do not need to own Google, its free and you don't need to install anything.

A 2 month old GPU driver has absolutely nothing to do with loading times.

And @ OP DO NOT install nvidia bloatware experience, it's not needed to get a driver update.
Do a search for nvidia drivers, select your gpu and system specs, download.

As for long load times I would say the game is installed on a low rpm HDD. If you want quicker load times invest in an SSD (I would go atleast 4TB these day as they're cheap as chips).
