There's a mod in the workshop called Rhyniagnatha everywhere. If you add that, it fixes the issue completely. They'll spawn normally in the swamp. In fact, after a while they're sort of a nuisance. But at least they will spawn :)
If you're on the island, they spawn normally in the swamp on the south side of the redwoods, and the entire chunk of swamp from the east end of the redwoods all the way out to the beach in a very wide area (literally wider then the rewoods). I have never seen one spawn on the north side of the redwoods.
So Im guess they spawned in the swamp.
They might require difficulty of 1.0 and max difficulty checked to spawn?
The spawn pool info is busted. Doesn't matter how many dinowipes or how many dinos you kill in the area.
Just install the Rhyniagnatha everywhere mod (if you can), and problem will be solved. High level rhynia are still rare.
RNG is either super bad or the spawns are busted.
I still cannot get one to spawn naturally so i settled for adding custom spawns via .ini
Now I have two pheromones sitting in my frig kinda dumb as frig base is back on Fjordur I don't feel like making a base on Lost and TheIsl just to catch one dino. gah This is more like a job. Honestly going back to pouting and breeding purple sinos.
