As helios pointed out, it's most likely that the other females are just on cooldown.
since you're using S+, you want to make a Hitching Post, with this you can easily group them up, put them all on wander/mating, and the post will keep them immobile. this is effectively the same as overloading them with stone so they cant move, etc.
Get an S+ Hatchery made and it will automatically pickup and incubate the eggs (*once its powered, early game it requires re-fertilizer)
with this you can essentially leave them to breed and completely ignore them, checking in on egg collection once in awhile. You can also just use the wild eggs you find to make the kibble, too. Wyvern eggs work as well, but not feasible in bulk due to the weight.
