Deinonychus breeding
Hi guys I'm back to playing Ark after 5 years, for nostalgia and to see the new dlcs, I'm playing on Single Player with S+ and one stack mod in Fjordur map, beautiful, many aspects of the game are new to me, I've learned that making Extraordinary Kibbles just got easier, just steal the deinonychus eggs and hatch them,
and here we come to my problem, at the moment I have 4 females and 1 male, it doesn't matter how far they are, they mate 1:1 - 3 females don't mate, I tried to change position but nothing, always 1:1, I remember that when I bred any dino 1 male was enough for 10 females, I don't know if it's a bug or a mod or something has changed in the breading, an annoying thing I hope someone can help me.

If you're playing single player, I highly recommend changing the breeding settings. After years and years of using vanilla everything, I snapped one day and changed it all. I have it set to egg layers produce an egg like every 30 seconds. I just found it to be a better use of my time.

As helios pointed out, it's most likely that the other females are just on cooldown.

seems like you're understanding the mechanics correctly; sounds like the 3 other females are on mating 'cooldown' and can't bone right now.

since you're using S+, you want to make a Hitching Post, with this you can easily group them up, put them all on wander/mating, and the post will keep them immobile. this is effectively the same as overloading them with stone so they cant move, etc.

Get an S+ Hatchery made and it will automatically pickup and incubate the eggs (*once its powered, early game it requires re-fertilizer)

with this you can essentially leave them to breed and completely ignore them, checking in on egg collection once in awhile. You can also just use the wild eggs you find to make the kibble, too. Wyvern eggs work as well, but not feasible in bulk due to the weight.
