Is It Still Worth It To Use The -preventhibernation Command?
I am restarting my singleplayer game and was curious if using the above command is still worth it?

I have a decent computer with 32Gbs of Ram, a 9700K processor and a RTX2070 Super Video card.

I don't use it.

I don't seem to have most of the issues that other people report while playing single player. I do dino wipes from time to time, just to refresh stuff. But I used to do that on multiplayer servers too.
I didn't use it for a good chunk of the game. After I did though the difference was absurd: the island was becoming deserted, and prevent hibernation not only fixed that, but it also showed how much fauna there should be in the various places.

So if your game can handle it, do yourself a favor and use it, it will also make the s+ transmitter and finder deluxe mods working as intended.

Thanks!

I don't use S+ or the deluxe finder mods. If I want to find a dino I use Larkator.
IMO, just do it. You've got more than enough overhead on those specs to justify leaving it on with zero afterthought or discourse.

my lounge PC is a 7700k, 32g ram, with a 1070; game runs like butter (with preventhib) aside from the slight load buffer when i get near a cave entrance for the first time.

Doit.
