Hoping to get some help with server debug

I have a company hosted server running on linux.

During start up I get many messages in the console:
waiting for rcon connection...
cli: auth: rcon: dial tcp 127.0.0.1:28022: connect: connection refused

and then many messages
waiting for rcon connection...
cli: auth: rcon: rcon: read packet size: read tcp 127.0.0.1:36998->127.0.0.1:28022: i/o timeout

From what I understand, this is different components of hosting running on different ports and failing to talk to each other. What's the fix for that? Or is this normal behaviour during Ark server startup?

Oh, it loads eventually. So they are connecting eventually. Forgot to say that. It just fails quite a few times first.

this is just RCON, has not much to do with the rest of the server functions (hosting the game)
are you sure that the RCON ports arent occuppied by other services?
You do not need RCON in the first place. RCON -remote console- ist for controlling the server without the ingame-console.
deactivate RCON - get info about occupied ports - reactivate RCON with different ports.

so, ya, not a big problem - server should run but without RCON

Ok I think when they did the initial setup they added 4 allocations when my plan only allows 3, so when it pings the extra one then the connection fails. I'll have to talk to support about it.
