Mating Interval seems to be broken
My mating interval is at 0.06, which means dinos should be taking between 10-20 mins between breeds, but it's taking them between 1-2 hours per breed. I have the mating interval set to 0.06 in my game.ini and gameusersettings.ini files as well as in the setting page of the main game. They were breeding at the 0.06 interval for ages but then I logged off one day and logged back on and they were taking hours to breed. Does anyone have a solution? I've also reset my game multiple times to make sure the setting has saved in the .ini files

Those settings go in game.ini.

If you're not sure where a setting goes, check the wiki. The "shotgun" approach of putting it in every config file is just making a mess. Some setting don't even go _in_ a config file, they have to be startup arguments. Look up where they go, save your sanity.

If you're making direct alterations to the config files, don't use the in-game gui pages anymore. Those are the baby training wheels version of changing settings. If you're altering the config files directly you've graduated.

Might help to the paste the _exact_ spelling of the settings you're using in here. I've frequently seen settings mispelled, missing words, re-arranged, etc. They don't work if they're not an exact match for the setting. People will put things like "MatingMultiplierSpeed" instead of the correct setting "MatingSpeedMultiplier=". "MatingSpeedMultiplier" works, the other one will do nothing.

P.S. cyropod the affected dinos and throw them back out, to see it if resets the timer. Once a timer is set like that, it stays set even if you change the settings. In some cases, I have to transfer them off the map, and then back again to reset it. I once goofed and change the mating interval on some brontos to roughly 2 years. real world time. 2 years. Crypopodding was the only thing that fixed it.

From what i recall this setting isn't retroactive.

So if your dino was on cooldown. Setting it lower and logging back in won't reduce the cooldown.

You have to wait till the cooldown expires and for your dino to mate again to see the effect of reduced mating cooldown.

At least that's what happened in my game.
