No, they don't clip. Dinos are hardcoded to require certain minimum size gates. You've basically got four: single door, double door, dinosaur gateway, behemoth gateway.

Yes, the wiki usually lists what size door they will fit through (usually).

For dinosaur gateway:

The Managarmr, Morellatops, and Woolly Rhino can fit through this gateway if it is not equipped with a gate. This differs for the Stone Dinosaur Gateway Stone Dinosaur Gateway and Metal Dinosaur Gateway Metal Dinosaur Gateway.

For double doors, there are a few things that will fit through the human sized double doorways. I've read about people using lymantria (giant moths) to transport materials around the inside of a base.

Until I get to the tek level, I actually build my bases so that Gasbags can be ridden down central hallways, in between rows of storage. I stop at one place, unload thousands of wood, then ride farther, drop off obsidian. IIRC, they'll fit in a 2 unit wide hallway, but you need dinosaur gates for them to fit through.

OH YEAH! Lets say I stack 2 double doors on top of each other...? Would this accommodate any more that were previously restricted just by height?

yeah, before you go floating around... look up leedsichthys in the wiki. It's a creature added solely to destroy rafts and boats. It's literally moby ♥♥♥♥, the white "whale".

I know that will work for pteradons, who can not fit through a single double wide door due to height.

I stick to the shallows. Yes I saw something huge come for me once but i was too shallow for it. But I have come to the conclusion boats suck. The idea is to have it to carry my tamed dinos around on. But its obvious that is not an intended game mechanic. Sliding, clipping and I dotn think foundations were meant to be placed on rafts as well. If it were intended it wouldn't be so janky.
