How Has ARK Lasted This Long?

Long time gamer, 1st time playing Ark recently. I have had Ark on 2 platforms for a looooong time but it really never appealed to me until recently. 2 buds I play Rust with have nearly 20k hours in Ark between the 2 of them. I heard them talking about Ark Ascended. They were pretty passionate about it and since I respect their opinions I figured i'd give it a shot.

Put in about 100 hours over the past 2 weeks. I have learned allot about the game mechanically from friends, youtube and articles. The final conclusion I have come to is: How the ♥♥♥ has this janky ass game lasted this long?

Knowing that the janky bugs have existed as long as the game has with never being addressed by the developers is a turn off. The bugs are a turn off. How can anyone spend any amount of hours in such a a janky ass game!? I am really trying to like it. The concept is appealing.

I recently learned that Snail Games is also behind Donkey Crew, the scam Devs. that keep abandoning games with popular followings. All while getting paid by Snail Games. But after playing both games I can see the similarities between Ark and LO mechanically. Both games have the same janky physics. One small bump or nudge from something sends you flyn across the map.. janky.

Is the community really expecting anything to change with Ark Ascended? Knowing this companies established bad reputation and knowing that Ark has never been fixed what hope does the community really have for the new Ark(s)? Or are we just a bunch of mindless cash nodes for the corps. hanging on their every empty promise?

And all the positive reviews.. like what the ♥♥♥?! I read a bunch of them... lol they are all obvious paid reviews, some by obvious AI! Cant even trust the reviews system when looking for a good game to play.

Bugs are there but they don't break the game ussualy , you can still play it as many do, and the game in itself is certainly something , there is alot to do and it has its perks pepole can like , and many do , if you don't then cool , does not mean others will share your view.
Will ASA be better? maybe in some ways , maybe not , we will see.
Will there be bugs? most likely.
Will pepole still enjoy it? certainly.
No matter what a company does , if pepole enjoy their product they will buy it and play it.

For me the bugs are game breaking.. is your head in a hole? AI clippn through structures to kill me and my Dynos? Intended I guess right? Speed so fast i can outrun a Dyno...? I mean why the ♥♥♥ do I even need a dyno for travel in that case? Working as intended I am sure. I mean I have to question the intelligence of the people that are actually defending this game and giving it positive reviews. There are MANY far more enjoyable games out there.

You get really pissed when pepole don't share your point of view.
what is even a dyno? you mean dinos? you can outrun some if you lvl up speed but unless the rates are super boosted or you literally skip every other stat you will not outrun the faster ones.
Clipping through structures? yeah that happens , but ussualy its just textures not attack hitboxes , unless the creature can destroy the structure or there was a hole.
If you really stand by your character being faster than all the dinos then you cleary don't know much about the game.
You seem to just want to start some arguments , are you bored?
Or are you just unable to comprehend that pepole can enjoy even janky games.
And the game sure can be janky and has lots of glitches but pepole still enjoy it in many areas as is clear by the player count.
But then again you probably can only call names and not discuss so why bother.

You are asking how has ARK survived this long , and if pepole expect ASA to be less broken.
And as I said , pepole just enjoy it no matter the jank and glitches , thats just what it is , and ASA will 95% be the same , janky and glitchy with a few changes and pepole will still like it despite all that.

Its not the bugs themselves... its the fact the bugs have lasted as long as the game has without ever being fixed. Meanwhile we have other games whos developers respond quickly to bugs and glitches and fix them. But not Arks developers.

Rust devs actually respond to bugs and glitches IMMEDIATELY and fix them. Meanwhile over in Ark the same damn bugs have been around for 8 years with the community complaining about them for as long too.
