I suggest though if your going to raise it build the pen somewhere there are less extreme cold/hot spells, something people lack to say. Many will take the egg off Abberation to hatch it, and head to a mild climate area then throw down 16-24 aircons.
I myself prefer to do it the safe way, and prevent any accidental mishaps, thats why 32 keeps the climate cool/warm enough for the creature.
Make sure your aircons are powered by a generator - not wind turbines - and make sure you've got plenty of gas before starting the hatch. Stay with it till its out of the baby state, then set it up on several troughs, keep it fed, easy for them to starve to death as well as die from too cold/hot.
Except, rock drakes only eat nameless venom until adulthood. Their food consumption doesn't decrease fast fortunately though.
