How do I prevent windows from being minimized?

I use a different program during ARK game.
The program is a notepad.
Clicking on Notepad minimizes the ARK window.
I want the ARK window to be retained though.

ARK is full screen and Notepad always uses the above functions.

All games except ARK are not minimized.

Switch ARK OFF of "Fullscreen" Mode.
Use "Windowed" or "Windowed Fullscreen" instead.

"Windowed Fullscreen" should not minimize, as it is still considered a "Window".
Any "Fullscreen" application will minimize when switching to another program, that is just how it works.

I run ARK in "Windowed Fullscreen" and am constantly switching between ARK and one of the several programs I always having running without minimizing ARK.

Yes, you've said that.
Not sure what to tell you then.
If "Windowed Fullscreen" not "Fullscreen" is also being minimized, you are out of luck.
As that is the only "non-windowed" way you'd get it to not minimize when swapping to another program.
