Event Color Wild Dinos
I own a gportal server for my friend and I. With Winter Wonderland active, we were excited about the wild dinos spawning in event colors. However, as of about 4 or so days ago, the dinos have stopped spawning in the event colors, for any event. Normally, if I change the active event in settings it spawns dinos in the chosen event colors. Now no wild dino that has spawned since a recent dino wipe, to initiate NPC replacement coding that I implemented to get rid of some of the corrupt creatures from the server that came with the Ragnarok Plus mod, has event colors. I do not know why it happened or how to fix it. I would greatly appreciate some help. My friend and I love having event colored dinos; it makes them less boring. I have tried restarting the server many times, I have tried dino wiping many times, tried deactivating certain mods that I thought could interfere, deactivating and reactivating the event in settings and manually right the code in the game ini, and nothing works. I do not think it has to do with WildCard, maybe, since the rest of the event stuff works fine. Sorry for the rant. I can list the mods I have if someone is willing to help.

Did you try the command line parameter?

?EventColorsChanceOverride=<num> (Takes a value between 0 and 1 = 100% chance for color override)

You said you did restart the server, you may try this parameter with some different values, and restart every time, to let it trigger the changes.

I have not tried that parameter. Let me give it a try and get back to you.

Had the same problem. Try this: Stop server, go to basic settings, scroll allll the way down to the Dinos-Part (near the DinoCountMultiplier), theres EventColorsChanceOverride, change the Number to 1, save, start server. Worked for me.

Omg, the previous person--TheRockFromHell--mentioned that setting but as a command line. I did not know it was a setting but I should have checked. Thank you soo so so much for this!! My friend and I are very happy to have the colors back. I greatly appreciate your help. :D

Some animals look very cool, or nice and cute with those event colors, no question.

My personal issue is the lack of camouflage. You can see almost every animal, and every threat thus, within render distance. Makes it quite easy, and immersion-breaking. Thinking of those poor megalanias, trying to hide for an ambush, but instantly spottable due to their shiny colors.

I totally understand that. They do lack camouflage when they are bright colors and the rest of the world is lacking such vibrancy. Do not worry, however, my friend and I get ambushed quite often as we have mods that add other creatures to our ark. I understand your point.
