I have been away for a while and recently started playing again. Last night I came across a Goldem Dodo, and was wondering what was up with them couldn't really find anything about them.

It's from the Pimp My Dino mod. Adds Golden Dodu and Dodu's with slots for saddle.

Golden dodo are only from annunaki genesis mod. Killing one and harvesting its corpse gives you golden treats which can instant tame regular and badass creatures(not alphas or wyverns or drakes).

Golden dodos hit pretty hard, and will chase you if you become aggressive to them. They've alot of health as well so dont go after them unless you got an alpha killing or similar dino in your menagerie.

There are golden dodus in the pimp my Dino mod that are just like normal dodus but are golden

Yeah as people have said it could be from one of two places:

Golden Dodo - Annunaki Genesis mod, these can be tamed and used as mounts, or killed for Golden Treats that can be used instead of kibble to instant tame bad-ass and lower quality dinos.

Golden Dodu - Pimp My Dino mod, these can wear special Dodu armor that is crafted as part of the mod, no real utility use other than to look at.

Ours are the Genesis Mod for taming. Genesis mod has made the game so much better. Much Harder in most ways nice and simple in others. Nothong like running through the woods and meeting up with a Prime Alpha Giga. Level 600 and mean as hell.
