Lag When Hosting a Non-Dedicated Session <SOLVED (sort of)>
Edit: I started up a Dedicated Server, and it runs SO much better. Thx to everyone who tried to help!

I get quite a lot of lag spikes while hosting a server for my friends and I and while I might have expected this, it doesn't make much sense to me given my specs. I opened up Task Manager, CPU-Z, GPU-Z, and Core Temp to see what was the bottleneck aaaand nothing was maxed out. I'm not as seasoned on computer things as some so I wouldn't be able to accurately tell my problem without a bit of help.

I'm interested to see if the community has any insight into what my problem could be and how to fix it. I get anywhere from 30-60 fps on High when not under effect of a lag spike and altough that isn't bad, I'd like it to be a solid 60 so theres less of a gap. I can run at Epic at a solid 50-60fps (sometimes more) when i'm not hosting so that's nice.

My specs are as follows:
Intel Core i7 5820k OC'd to 4.0Ghz
Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan X
32GB of DDR4 RAM
Running Windows 7

What are you using for storage?
What are your server settings / save intervals?

I'm using a 500GB SSD for my OS and smaller programs such as Adobe, Firefox, ect. Steam took up a ton of space on my last computer, so it is installed on my 2TB SSHD drive.

Bridges, Stairs with Rounded Walls, Extra Cooking Stuff, and Level Signs. I have The Centre installed but I'm not using it in thi case.

I never used a hybrid drive but i guess the same rules apply to it, larger drives tend to slow down over time, and since the game is saving and pulling textures it might cause you to lag a bit.

Generally i try never to record to the same drive my game is on. Other than that im not too sure whats causing your drops it could be many things hard to narrow it down.

Ive hosted my own server for quite some time now never really had too many frame drops due to hosting. 26 person server with 10 or so on at all times. Most of it is caused by large bases / many dinos / plant turrets.
