Bow Draw Strength

does it count? i read something long ago damage scales with draw strength but cant find anything on it now. does this effect compound bows and regular bows or does it not effect them?

Draw weight, IRL, allows you to cast a heavier grain arrow over a larger distance, and giving it more energy at the point of impact. Compound bow have a weight that is fixed but when you "Break" them as you draw, the weight you're holding is reduced anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 of the full weight. It is also rare, though not impossible to find them over 100#. A wooden or composite bow can be over drawn, but this is actually damaging to the bow, and can lead to catastrophic failure. I dont think Ark has gotten into the finer details of archery to be honest with you, I have a whole bookself dedicated to Bowyer craft. In Ark, a bow is a bow.
