Taming a Dunkle

Has anyone successfully knocked one out? I put 70 tranq arrows from a 212% MS Crossbow into a Lv.8 and she never fell unconscious. Anyone else seeing the same? Is this a glitch like the Anglers when they were released?

I guess it doesn't go down if you hit it in the head. I just barely got one down with 65 arrows from a 168% xbow.

a lvl 4 dunkle has 1888 torpor

Took down a level 16 easy enough solo, fired about 60-70 tranq arrows all told, didnt hit with all of them..

They have very high torpor. Keep firing away, but make sure you leave 5 secs between shots as they don't have massive health.

Knocked out a 224 & 216 so far. First one was by myself with asendant crossbow. took nearly 150 arrows but it finally went down. 2nd one two of us were shooting it, went down much more easily.

A level 92 took nearly 200 arrows with my apprentice crossbow -3-...

Agreed. After much trial and error I managed to drop and tame a Dunkle lv.96. Using the 212% damage MS crossbow I spent 85 arrows to knock it out. It took a lot of swimming, and almost ten minutes of underwater circle strafing and landing belly shots. But it worked. With the new reduction to their torpor hopefully it'll be more reasonable still!

155 arrows for a 108 dunkle from a journey crossbow with 162 dam. About 80% belly/tailshots while it cirkled, 20% headshots while swiming backwards. After reduction from last patch pretty doable imho.

I was able to knockout a level 8 with 70 tranq arrows in an app crossbow. Almost killed it, no headshots, can't imagine what it takes to knockout a 120

knocked out a 96, had 368 hp out of 2660 left before ko, mc crossbow 205 damage. hard to knock out(not anymore because update)
had 10k topor
