Goofy questions regarding aggro: if dino tails sticking out of base
if you have dinos in an enclosed base, locked inside, but their tails are out through the walls, can this cause aggro on gigas, alphas, or any other dino for that matter?

Good question but simple and many answers
Example : a dino like an alpha raptor or giga might get aggroed if the alpa or giga sees it in his line of sight if it comes very close to your dino's if there isn't a wall xd but even then i had couple times a carno or something aggroed on one of my spino's(with tail outside) but that is like rare, so u might build ur dinopen couple foundations wider and bigger just in case like i did after that

Another example : if your walls are like 3high with couple gates and ur dino's sticking out of it(in height ofc) then a rex, giga, alpha or any other carnivore might get aggroed if ur dino's are in it's line of sight(yes line of sight has to do something with aggro) then might try to get to ur dino's and if it can't reach ur dino's it might attack ur walls and/or might run away

So, not being a wiseguy here lol but your comments lead me to believe they may or may not draw agro depending on whats passing by?

My dinos are enclosed a massive stone pen. A cube if you will. You cant see them at all unless you open the behemoth gate and enter the building. But I stick their tails out the walls to save room inside the pen. The pen is on pillars: about 4-5 high off the ground so the dinos tails are sticking out the walls pretty high up. The only thing that could munch one would be a giga or alpha which is why I was curious if this could ever draw agro. Im in a spot where gigs and alphas come down the mountain to my base.
To be honest i've never had issues with this. If you can't access their inventories from their outside tails then you are probably fine
