these vids are from last year for the dk2. they just implemented support for the cv1. we're asking about how it looks with the cv1

It's look ok, I would not play the game using CV1. I just want to know how my base was on VR. Also, dinos seems smaller than 2D.

If you reduce the graphics to say medium it would probably be alright but as others have said game still has performance issues and if you go into areas with insane amount of structures your framerate may drop in the toilet depending on processor/gpu.

I find it runs 'decent' and looks 'decent' on the CV1. Flying however is a blast! I might use it more but I am typically playing along side my wife who cant handle VR for more then 5 seconds so that would just be rude :)

Really want to try it out, and do a cave with it. But I will wait till its optimized to have the best first experience! :)

I am running a gtx980TI and it runs no problem at all on cv1 saying that the game looks rubbish and i would stick to normal screen. I had all thr settings turned to high...

How did you get it to work fully? When I turn on VR it kind of get in a windowmode in Oculus. If that makes sense.

It isn't working right on the Rift so you aren't missing anything. ♥♥♥♥ looks like a 4:3 800x600 window in the center of your vision, super low res, super low frames and black bars on the sides. I have a 1080GTX and can play this fine at 3440x1440 on my desktop. The VR implementation is just 100% broken. I dunno how they are allowed to display the oculus badge on the steam page.

Thought that might be the case - I play the game 3440x1440 myself btw :)

You do know that even if Pimax has 4k, its still a budget VR with many problems..right? So far far from being the best.
