Server not showing up?

Even when i type in the exact name of my servers they dont pop up. I emailed the Host and they said the server lists on ARK are broke and dont show all the servers. Is this true or are they just pulling my leg so people have to use the host website to connect to my server?

You can verify that if your server is reachable on arkservers.net. make an account there follow the instructions.

And make sure you checked the box for showing password protected servers. If you cannot see that, switch to english game.

This is verifying that other websites are showing my server. My question is about the ingame ARK server list.

The in game server list simply cannot cope with the 40,000+ dedicated/non-dedicated servers out there... thats why its so unreliable.

No as its controlled by Ark.... some days your server might show.... other days not.

But tbh... most of the users on my server have joined via battlemetrics or arkservers search rather then the Ark server list.

Check the game version you have on your PC and compare it to the server version. Most likely the server needs a update and because your PC or the server you want to log into does not have similar versions of the game that fail to see each other or connect.
