PvE Servers?

I have only played on singleplayer and a small 3 player server hosted by a friend on scorched earth. Anyone know any good PvE servers with good communities I could jump into? Also, I know i can join an official PvE server, but I don't want to play on one that is highly crowded (each one always has like 30+ players when I check). I would like mod-free servers, but I could download a couple if need be.

Try using battlemetrics site to check population statistics.

Browse the server advertising subforum or Reddit ark server ads. There are some no mod unofficial servers, they are just rare.

I don't even mind a few non-game breaking mods like S+. What I can't stand is every unofficial PVE server out there has 10X everything on stats. I can understand wanting to level in a hurry on a PvP server as PvP is the main event. But what's the point on a PvE server to getting to level 100 in a day? Most servers I try to join, I make it to level 10 in 20 minutes. By the time I've gathered the resources to build a thatched hut, it's obsolete.

There has to be people out there like me that want to play the game but are not in a hurry to get to max level.

5-6x is best IMO for a pve server, anything higher is a teeny bit too fast and anything lower starts feeling like watching paint drying while jerking off with a cheese grater. (Spent two years playing primitive PVE official solo essentially, starting back when the official rates were half what they are now - much cheese grater was had, dosnt recommend.)

I prefer 1x for exp. 3-5x for harvest, and 2x tame (with a hungry mod or increased wild dino consumption)

Higher tame rate eliminate the need for prime and kibble. Removes challenge.

What you said is almost what I do. I have 1/2x XP (though I would be happy with 1x), 2x on player harvest and 4x on Dino Harvest. I like for Dino's to be really useful I play Prim+ local game. I'd love to try a server but I can't find any with reasonable mods and the stats I mentioned.

It's the most friendly server that i have played on and there's almost no pillars around the map to claim land.
