Follow other command?
How can I get "Dino 1" to follow "Dino 2" without actually riding the dino I intend to let be followed? Like, I have two Dilophosaurs who I want one to follow the other, but I reckon this is impossible? Or can I somehow have it follow, the same way I use "Attack that target" command?

The only way is to mount it and tell the other to follow it. There is no "follow that dino" command.

If you mount it and whistle follow me it will follow the dino. When you dismount it will continue to follow the other dino. You can even put the one you mounted on wander and the other one will follow it.

kinda there is. you can chain them by riding dino 2 and telling dino 3 to follow. that way it follows the dino not you, but the dinos must be ridable so you couldn't do it with Dilos. then get on dino 1 and tell dino 2 to follow. then you kinda get the wagon train effect. I do it on my argies all the time, otherwise you get a cluster-♥♥♥♥ everytime you stop, slow or land...lol

This is specifically what the op stated they didn't want to do.

The op wants to just point at a dino and tell others to follow it, which is not possible.

no the op asked how to get a dino to follow another while not riding the one being followed. this will do that. you just have to be on the dino when the follow command is given THEN you can get off. unridable dinos cant be chained.

I'm sorry, but no. I disagree. The question was specifically asked about getting dinos to follow another dino without riding on it. He went on to specifically state he wanted to get Dilo's to follow another Dilo, which cannot be mounted. And he also specifically asked if there was a whistle command to "follow that dino"..

I don't care if you disagree. He said "like" as in as an example of one following another. and I already stated that *you must be able to ride a dino for this to work*... for ridable dinos yes you can chain them without needing to ride anything you only need to be in the saddle when the command is given. when in the saddle and a follow command is given the commanded dino follows the dino you are riding not you personally, thus you can chain them ride the front most dino and they are follow each other in a a long chain. I do this all the time with pack dinos. 3 follows 2 who follows 1 who follows me on foot thus maximizing the carry load. this is not a hard concept to understand, if you don't belive me go try it yourself.

@FightinWelsh i agree with margalus, you clearly did not understand the op, and are stuck on your own opinion.

"Like, I have two Dilophosaurs who I want one to follow the other, but I reckon this is impossible?" his question and example specify exactly what you seem to be avoiding.
