They must be in this folder to work(might be different path if you are running a different OS or if you have installed Steam in a different folder)
They should show up. Strange.
Beats me.
Try joining another private server and see if they show up. I have a server you can try it on where I can spawn in the stuff for ya.
(Drive):\Ark\ShooterGame\Saved\SavedArks\ServerPaintingsCache\TheIsland
server should be stopped and or restarted after this.
Why does this need to be done? Before we wiped the server, one of our friends was able to use templates without having to go through that. We never reset the server for him. Did something change?
Also, I put copies of the MyPaintings templates here and nothing has changed. :(
That doesnt do anything. Paintings are local, not serversided. After you have used a template, the dino that you painted gets stored on the server.

[Edit]
So, he went through all my subscribed mods and removed everything that I had downloaded, but weren't in use on this server. It didn't fix it. But I found out that canvas templates show up fine, but not dinosaurs or players.
I could understand if it wouldn't work on the BA animals, or the alphas or whatever. But the animals I'm trying to paint are just regular old Ark creatures. The beaver is just a beaver. But the templates, when I attempt to paint these creatures, will not show up. I'm losing my mind. At least I know I can decorate my canvases though >.<
If doesnt work then try making a new survivor.
Once the paints are saved, we can go to the folder and see what the difference is in the title of the saved file. Copied the difference, such as _Child_GNS_ which is on most of the non-BA creatures (like the beaver), and placed it between BP and C in each title. So, for example;
horde2_dodo_character_bp_Child_GNS_c.pnt
I did this to everything I wanted to paint, so far. Now, the annoying thing is that with the BA creatures, each one has an element. Mountain, Toxic, whatever. I attempted to make copies of the same files and name them MOUNTAIN or whatever but it wouldn't let me copy and rename the copy without it automatically renaming the original that I had renamed before. Hopefully, you're able to follow me with this. The good news is that I tamed them for their BA appearances anyway (i.e. my raptors), so I don't have a desire to apply a template to them. I'm thinking, if I ever wanted to, I could download the same templates and rename them each seperately, but I haven't tired it yet. Maybe later.
Now, if I decided I wanted to paint stuff on the public server and use the same templates, I could go ahead and just redownload each template and leave it as is, and be able to use them as I please.
But yeah, one of my mods is definitely the cause for my troubles. I, at least, have painted my beaver to look like a bunny rabbit to match the ears that she has on her head. I just wish that it didn't have to become so complicated.
