Tree Platforms are too weak
For something that is harder to make than 20 stone foundations someone would expect the wood tree platforms would have at least as much HP as 10 of them
Right now the wooden tree platform has only 40000 hp, even a single bird can break it after a while
A single wooden foundation has 15000 hp, it would be expected for the tree platform to have between 150000 and 300000 hp.
The metal tree platform is not something safe to support a whole base either, only 60000 hp for the amount of metal and paste it costs, its just insane

What'd you expect?

It's a farking TREEHOUSE!

It's floating up there in the air attached to a giant tree, it's not built on solid ground.

:steamfacepalm:
40k is easily bested by higher level dinos. I placed a platform too low and a carno was doing nearly 500 health per hit to it. Definitely needs moar health.

Its a Tree PLATFORM - not a house.

So what? that is also a disadvantage because the places you can build on are very limited (only 2 snap points per tree) while normal foundations can be placed EVERYWHERE

The wooden platform should have stone tier durability so dinos could not destroy it, with all the cementing paste we use on it i dont see why that can't be the case
It would also be pleasant to feel safe logging off without fear of falling through the thing on logging in, unless i'm missing something... but that's probably a separate discussion, though not one i've seen brought up. But yeah, tree platforms could do with some sort of re-balancing in their favour, in my opinion too.

Bed+storing items in a storage box before logging out....ALWAYS!

One the first day I was out there looking at them. Health does not seem that bad, till you realize you need over 130 foundations to cover the entire thing. Not including walls and other stuff on the inside. And now you start looking at all of those assets your puting into this base. with the ability of it being destroyed fairly easy.

Even the metal ones are pretty weak. 60k HP. Would take ~15-20 rockets to destroy it. and everything on it. Most people question if they would to spend that many rockets destroying a vault. but if you where attacking a treehouse. you would just level the whole thing.

Wood is meant to be the weak tier.
While a stone tree platform would look ridiculous, I see no reason why they couldn't add a reinforced wooden platform, there's also a few other missing stone tier stuff, like reinforced wooden ramps.

it could be like the stone-tier doors and windows
