The big moneys been made from the PC sales. A fresh influx of cash came from the XBox sales, but it's an ever decreasing flow from now on.
The "final" release announcement will drum up a little more interest/cash, but the game is pretty much in the state it will be in at release. There is no real cash incentive for WC to fix those long standing bugs at this stage.
Expect to see a few minor bugs fixed and a little optimization, but what you see now is what you get, other than new content between now and then.
So when can we expect to start playing the game you've developed? Since you're so knowledgeable of how development works and all.
