Hitbox fixing. GLOBAL THREAD!
Hello guys! I've been playing the ark from the very begining and I passed through all bags and glitches. I saw how this game become better. Devs added new dinos, fixed some bugs and optimize game engine BUt! WHY DONT YOU FIX THESE FU****ing DINO's hitboxes !??!?! It is impossible to endure cases when you stay between two or more dinos and your body is being thrown or casted (sorry for my english) back and forth or even teleported through the dino to another one... or you can hang over the scorpion or in the quetzal wings and there is no way out. One more problem is "following". My giga stucks every time I whistle my ptero to follow me or my giga. It just flies into giga's body and they both stuck into each other and are no able to move. It concerns not only pteros and gigas, almost all dinos have this problem. The next thing which makes me enraged is heads of big dinos and their ability to turn in your side. I HATE IT! For example you left your quetzal in the air and its head is in the opened gates and you are transport some resourses from Q to boxes but this bird always looks at me and the first problem repeats, your body is being dangled from side to side. PLZ! Fix it! Almost all dinos which were allowed on the start have nice hitboxes, why can't you fix bugged ones now ?? I hope devs will see my thoughts and do something because it becomes impossible to fray my nerves every time I go to my pans. Or I will have to forget about this game what I really don't want to do cuz I LOVE ARK, it is the best survavial I've ever played. Thank you all in advance.

Yeah, I agree. The hitboxs have been an utter pile of poo since the beginning. It's really "un-immersive" and feels generic in a sense.

To be fixed after new stuff is added.

Won't ever be fixed. Face it, most of the long standing bugs will never be fixed.
The big moneys been made from the PC sales. A fresh influx of cash came from the XBox sales, but it's an ever decreasing flow from now on.
The "final" release announcement will drum up a little more interest/cash, but the game is pretty much in the state it will be in at release. There is no real cash incentive for WC to fix those long standing bugs at this stage.
Expect to see a few minor bugs fixed and a little optimization, but what you see now is what you get, other than new content between now and then.

So when can we expect to start playing the game you've developed? Since you're so knowledgeable of how development works and all.

Why improve the hitboxes, add new dinos and content, then just have the fixes on the hitboxes broken cause of additions to the game? Hope this makes sense. ;)
What ? 😐
Its apparently going to be fixed next patch ( at least the following issue) as they are about to relaese an option to set following range for dinos. No more indecent brownnosing.
