No trilobites on center map

Are the trilobites not spawning on the center map? I'm trying to get chitin and I can't find any trilobites

It took a while for us too, but The tropical south island with the blue obelisk on had an absolute tonne of them in that natural habour at the back of it. its all under water mind you but its not deep, mind the megaladons and manta's

I cant remember if it was the Wiki or the Center Map Modder, but someone once mentioned that trilos tend to spawn and move along the beach at dawn and duskon the Center Map. Since then i tend to take a stroll at those times and do not have issues collecting them by the hundreds.

If you have a chance to dive for them then you will find some places under water with an insane amount of them, but as already mentioned there tend to also be an insance amount of megas and mantas wanting to eat you for breakfast.

The two largest tropical islands on the east side of the map have them spawn along the beaches.

I've found plenty in the shallows between the two big tropical islands, but you are at greater risk of getting mauled so don't swim out there on your own.

I see them alot along the bottom floor. I don't see them as much on the beaches. Please for the love of all that is holy. Are there Mosas? Been searching for DAYS and not a single one has been found......The scuba mask overlay is giving me a headache Q.Q PLease tell me someone has answers.

Trilobite heaven = 48/83 many spawn here daily.
Mosa = 40/80 and 90/80 have best chances since its near the trenches and at the base of the sea.
best way on getting a mosa to find you bring a "Angler fish" they attracted wild dinos when they attack.

Ahhh, I didn't know that about the anglers. Im about to check those coords now. I checked the entire ocean but it's so huge, I might of missed something. Also think you said they like to hug the top after the one patch so I need to still check that.

Looking for my Mosa, I've seen a BUNCH of trilobites behind the volcano Island in the water. Though I'm sure you wouldn't want to go there without a underwater mount.

You can also get a lot of chitin by taking the path down to the underground by killing the scorpions, spiders etc. or in the caves

There are tons of trilobites just west of the North and South tropical in the little islands
